A Legacy Born of Faith and Music

One evening, unexpectedly, the Bendaly Family appeared on a television show, astonishing viewers with their artistic talents in singing, playing music, and their mature presence three qualities every artist should possess to earn their place in the journey toward recognition.
Local press and media rushed to the family’s home in Tripoli, North Lebanon, eager to report, interview, and publish their photos. Even the national television station sent a fully equipped crew to broadcast live from the house, showcasing this unique family of twelve. Ranging in age from 9 to 24, they all sang, danced, and composed their own personal style of music. Newspapers and magazines extensively covered the phenomenon, describing the Bendaly Family as “international artists.” One foreign radio station even predicted they could become a national treasure, like the British group The Beatles with one major difference: the BENDALYS were all related, while the Beatles were not. In February 1975, the Bendaly Family stood on the Clemenceau stage in Beirut for the first time. They performed daily in a live show for three and a half months, captivating enthusiastic crowds with their energy and originality. The local media embraced and admired them, capturing the true essence of their artistry. When the civil war ignited, the family returned to Tripoli, where they remained until four members received an opportunity to work in Damascus, Syria. The Syrian people welcomed them with deep appreciation, and the local media published numerous articles celebrating their talent. The Syrian government embraced the family as one of their own, and soon, the BENDALYS were performing regularly on Syrian television. Jordan then extended an invitation, and the family performed in large concerts across the country. Jordanian television broadcast their shows on many occasions, responding to popular demand. Through these achievements, the Bendaly Family proved they were an international phenomenon. The prediction of them becoming a national treasure was no longer a dream it was unfolding before the world’s eyes. Was this phenomenon merely a coincidence? The answer lies with the parents: “It is a blessing born of faith the kind of faith that creates wonders.
